An Alternative Entrance

Matte painting of a castle in the mountains with hidden entrance! I did a drawing of a castle and wanted to depict a hidden old underground entrance to it. One of my favorite things in games is entering through some alternative entrance as opposed to bursting through the front gates. Yep, stealth and surprise attacks.
I just did some basic blocking, decided I wanted mostly everything in the shadows, then separated foreground, middle ground and background before starting to create the castle.
